Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign in, we use Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication) to create your account. We receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not support or store phone-number/OTP sign-in.
• Location: with your permission, we use your device's location (precise or approximate) to show you home cooks near you, and to show cooks nearby seekers. You can control location access from your device settings at any time.
• Messages: chat messages you send to cooks or seekers in-app are stored so conversations can continue across sessions, and so we can investigate a reported problem if you ask us to.
• Photos: if you're a home cook, photos you upload of your food are stored and shown to people browsing nearby.
• Push notification token: if you allow notifications, we store a device token (via Expo/Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can notify you about new requests, messages, and order updates.
• Order and listing details: things like your meal price, food type (veg/non-veg/both), and availability if you're a cook.
• Waitlist (website): if you join our city or iOS waitlist on tummido.com, we store your email, the city you enter, and whether you're a home cook — only to tell you when Tummido launches there. Email contact@solbinary.com any time to be removed.

How we store it

App data (accounts, listings, conversations, messages) is stored in our MongoDB database. Authentication itself is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). Map and location features use the Google Maps platform.

How we use your information

• To show you relevant home cooks or seekers near you
• To let you chat with a cook or seeker about an order
• To send you notifications about requests, messages, and order updates
• To respond if you contact support or report a problem

We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently run third-party advertising on the website, and in-app ads (where shown) do not include sale of your personal data to ad networks beyond what's needed to serve the ad itself.

Your choices

You can turn off location or notification permissions from your device settings at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email us at contact@solbinary.com and we'll act on it directly.

Children's privacy

Tummido is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
